Pricing questions, answered
How much does the Agent 37 Cloud API cost?
Always-on instances are metered per minute from a prepaid balance and start around $3.44/month for the smallest shape (1 vCPU, 3 GB RAM, 6 GB disk). Rates are $0.80/vCPU, $0.70/GB of RAM, and $0.09/GB of disk per month. No seats, no minimums; delete an instance and you stop paying that minute.
How much does managed OpenClaw hosting cost?
Managed OpenClaw or Hermes hosting on Agent 37 starts at $3.99/month on the Basic tier and goes up to $99.99/month for Max. Every tier is a fully isolated always-on instance with the task board, web terminal, file browser, live desktop, and scheduled jobs included.
What is the difference between the Cloud API and managed hosting?
The Cloud API provisions instances programmatically with one POST and meters them per minute; it is built for products that give each user a persistent agent, white-label by default. Managed hosting is a flat monthly subscription per instance, managed from the browser. Same infrastructure underneath.
Is there a free tier?
No. OpenClaw and Hermes themselves are free software; what you pay for here is somewhere always-on to run them. New Cloud API workspaces get a $1 starter credit, roughly a week of the cheapest instance, no card required.
Do I still pay for AI model usage?
You bring your own API keys on every tier, so model usage is billed by your provider at their rates. Managed-hosting tiers also include a monthly AI credit allowance, and Plus and above bundle free models with usage limits that reset every 5 hours. Cloud API instances can use managed credentials metered at cost under a per-instance spend cap.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cloud API instances can be deleted whenever you want and billing stops that minute. Managed hosting is cancel-anytime with no lock-in.
